WHAT WE DO - WE PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF THE INJURED.

You or someone that you know has likely been involved in an accident that resulted in an injury. This may have an impact on you and your loved ones for your entire lives. You are likely unsure of how to resolve the many issues and challenges that arise after a collision or injury. Personal injuries can be difficult and challenging.  Such injuries can be life-altering, frustrated and leave you unsure of where to turn or who to trust.

Without the guidance and knowledge of an experienced lawyer, you can be overwhelmed with doctor bills, frightened, and feel that you have no recourse when dealing with a sophisticated insurance company. However, you do not have to go through this alone and without help. By working with an attorney at Storer & Steen who is experienced in helping people with personal injury claims, you can be assured that you will be given the time, care, and devotion that you deserve as we fight for just and fair compensation for your injuries.

We are experienced and have the resources to properly investigate your claim and thoroughly review all the issues in order to determine the best approach to achieve maximum and just compensation. This includes systematically reviewing all physical evidence, witness testimony, police reports and medical records as well as working with professionals in forensics, accident reconstruction, medicine and private investigation to act as expert witnesses in presenting your case to an insurance company or if it goes to trial. Whether your claim is settled by negotiation or a jury verdict, our goal is to recover the highest possible amount for your medical expenses, loss of earnings, disability, and emotional trauma associated with the collision, accident or injury.

Bryan Storer, DC, JD (on the right)

Bryan was born in Idaho but much of his childhood was spent in Berlin and Koblenz Germany which he still considers his second home. He returned to the US in 1981 to attend college at the University of Maryland and Brigham Young University. He graduated from Life Chiropractic College-West in 1985. He practiced Chiropractic in Arizona and Idaho with a focus on treatment of spinal trauma. He testified in behalf of many injured patients and developed an interest in medico-legal issues and bio-mechanics. His experiences while providing expert witness services for the legal community kindled his desire to eventually study law.

Bryan entered the University of Idaho Law School in 2001 and graduated in 2003 at which time he started this injury focused law practice.

Bryan's practice focus is on injury related issues.  Due to his Chiropractic background, he understands medical terminology, insurance coding, documentation, and appropriateness of treatment and treatment charges. His hands-on experience examining patients also provides him with a unique insight when pursing injury claims that few attorneys have. His years of examining patients, reading x-rays, and documenting injuries help him understand the complex issues involved in litigating injury claims.

He lectures widely on issues such as examination procedures, medical documentation, diagnosis and report writing. He regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current on Medical issues. Bryan also handles a variety of business transactions including business purchases/sales, business formation/start-ups, and business disputes.

Bryan and his wife, Michele, are parents 4 children and live in Boise, Idaho.  They enjoy traveling and camping so long as Bryan does not ask Michele to clean the fish he catches.  Bryan still participates in competitive swimming and triathlons.

Matt Steen, JD

Matt grew up mostly in Pennsylvania, but has lived all over the east coast.  He served a 2 year mission for the LDS Church to Santiago, Chile and still speaks Spanish. He has many Hispanic clients which allows him to maintain his Spanish speaking skills. He attended college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and law school at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma.

Before working at Storer & Steen, Matt worked with Myler Disability, based in American Fork, Utah for 9 years.  While with Myler, Matt represented over 3,000 disability clients before Social Security judges in all 50 states and Guam, but most of his work has been here in Idaho. He also supervised and trained other attorneys in handling Social Security cases. Matt still practices Social Security disability at Storer & Steen while also focusing on personal injury and worker's compensation claims.
